The VC:MP Battlefield Server is intended to be a fun, welcoming and friendly environment for all players to play on. As such, we have a list of rules we expect all players to follow with no exceptions. By choosing to play on the server or use the server's forum, Discord, you agree to follow all the rules listed below.
Our main goal is for community to be a positive and respectful space where cheating, inappropriate content, bad player behavior, and other negative things are kept to a minimum. We think BadDiamondArtz offers some of the most fun and creative gameplay available in the online VC:MP community, and we support the vast majority of players who respect others and play fairly. By following a few simple rules, we can all help make the community stay a great place to play some fun games with friends. Keep in mind before we proceed to the violations:
- There are two types of punishment systems we have: a global ban and a sub-server ban. All of these rules below, related to forbidding a player, are considered to be global bans, thus you'll be banned from any sub-server you join. Unlike a sub-server ban, the owner will only be able to ban you on that sub-server.
- If you happen to witness one of the owners not following procedures; such as, not interrupting peoples' gameplay, killing them via their commands without a valid reason, etc; you have the right to report them and we'll take care of it.
Now then, here's the list of violations you should keep in mind at all costs.
Hacking/Modding
- Any such hacks or modding which will lead to an advantage in combat is strictly forbidden & therefore will be issued with a ban.
Breaching into accounts
- Any attempt into getting into someone's account, including failing to login, is considered a violation. It's recommended you attend to the tournament with one computer. Anyone caught breaching into someone's account will be taken action following by an 5-day suspension, a ban in subsequent attempts, to the rulebreaker's account.
Ban Evading
- Bypassing the ban system by modifying your IP address, UID, or any other method is strictly forbidden and will lead to permanent ban to make it difficult for them to evade again.
Death Evade
- The following actions such as quitting your game, pausing, crashing, timeout'ing, while you're near to death is considered a violation and it'll be issued with a warning to a 5 day suspension.
The following glitches are known to be disallowed:
- Wall glitching - killing a player by penetrating a wall, seperating from the victim.
- Turbo Glitching - a bug which causes you to fire intensely and slide at the same time.
- Ghost City bug - a bug where your pedestrian is invisible due to VCMP bugs when you're killed after being frozen. Killing anyone while you're bugged is disallowed.
- Katana glitching - a glitch where you're able to shoot faster with the use of the katana.
Anyone breaking the following violations will be warned to a temporary ban by the number of days varying the number of offenses.
Chat Flooding
- Flooding the main chat, including the Discord bot, or team chat following by repeated messages is considered a violation and it'll be issued with a temporary mute to a temporary ban, including a mute on the Discord server.
Insulting
- The recommended action when the situation is present is the use of /ignore to avoid further trouble, however, if the suspect is insulting frequently after ignoring him, he'll be issued with a temporary mute to a temporary ban varying the number of attempts.
Stats Padding
- Killing each other without offering resistance is a severe violation and, anyone involved with the violation, will be given a 5 day, or more for subsequent offenses, suspension.
